Danish rider Mads Wurtz Schmidt is the new World U23 Individual Time Trial Champion.
Schmidt took the title after finishing the course in Richmond, Virginia, in a time of 37.10.96, some 12.20 seconds ahead of German Max Schachmann and another German Lennard Kanma who was 21.02 seconds down.
Britain's Owain Douell finished fifth, some 36.25 second back whilst Scott Davies was 34th, two minutes and nineteen seconds down.
