Stephane Rossetto of Rabobank has won the 40th Boucles De La Mayenne race in France.
The final stage of a race which has seen Stephane Rossetto of Rabobank was from Le Horps to Laval and included five finishing laps of the town.
Six riders were in a break which had a 2.05 lead after 102kms of racing. That lead fell to 1.35, fourteen kilometres later and by the time, the riders reached Laval, where the race had started on Thursday, the break had been caught.
There were various attacks but the riders were altogether going under the flam rouge and there was Europcar's Yohann Gene who popped up to take the stage victory.
A few seconds back in came Stephane Rossetto to win the race overall.
