Belgian Sebastien Rosseler won the KBC-Driedaagse De Panne Koksijde.

The final day was split into two stages - the first was a 111km stage around De Panne.

Lieuwe Westra started the day in the leaders jersey and Bert De Backer came second in the sprint at Middlekerke to ensure that he went home with the sprinters jersey for the race and took the leaders white jersey.

In blustry, wet conditions, there were a few crashes as those still in the race, followed in the wake of Team Sky's Chris Sutton who went clear with 20km left.

Federico Canuti took the mantle and got 19 seconds ahead as they went into the coastal town of De Panne for the final time. HTC Highroad were at the front of the peleton chasing back along with Astana and Ireland's Matt Brammeier.

Canuti was passed and it went to a bunch sprint. Liquigas' Jacopo Guarnieri timed his run to perfection and was first over the line ahead of yesterday's winner Denis Galimzyanov and Jimmy Casper.

The 56 riders who had made the cut, moved up the coast to the seaside town of Tijdrit for a 14.7km time trial. With the likes of Bradley Wiggins not making the cut, Matt Brammeier was the only British and Irishman left in the race.

Boy Van Poppel set the early time of 20.15.73 and Brammeier beat that finishing in 19.41.32. Federico Canuti beat that coming in at a time of 19.22.18.

Team Sky's Greg Henderson then took over the lead beating Canuti's time by a tenth of a second before Rick Flens shot through in 19.01.46.

New best times continued to be posted with Andriy Grivko finishing the course in a time of 18.55.24 and then Bert Grabsch finished in 18.53.70.

Michal Kwiatkowski did an 18.45 but Sebastien Rosseler smashed that flying home in a time of 18.31.83.

Westra finished in a time of 18.45 to take the runners up spot and with De Backer not going better, Rsdioshack's Rosseler who won the stage and the race.

Rosseler, admitted he was delighted and very happy. Adding that he was not sure what power he had left in his legs but he was delighted to win the three days of De Panne.
