Team Sky's Peter Kennaugh has won the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.

Kennaugh led the race by forty two seconds going in to the final stage which was a ten kilometre individual time trial from Pavullo to Montecuccolo.

Foliforov had set the early time to beat of 16:46 and that lasted until Rosa finished six seconds quicker.

Rabottini came in in 16.36 before the riders in the top ten of the general classification went down the ramp.

Team Sky's Dario Cataldo rode well and finished in 16.28, a time which Francois Bongiorno who was second on general classification could not get anywhere near.

So all, last man down the ramp Peter Kennaugh had to do was to finish around the time of Bongiorno and within thirteen seconds of Cataldo's time to win the race overall and this he did.

Kennaugh finished to win the general classifcation by twelve seconds from Cataldo, thirty five seconds from Rabottini, forty three seconds from Bongiorno and fifty seconds from Caruso.
