No Cavendish Or Wiggins For British Championships

Mark Cavendish or Bradley Wiggins will not ride in the Biritsh Championships National Road Race on Sunday.

Cavendish who won the SterZLMtoer in Holland yesterday and Current British Champion Wiggins who has won Paris-Nice, Tour Of Romandy and the Criterium Du Dauphine this season, have been omitted by Team Sky for the race at Ampleforth near York, despite both applying to enter.

Both riders will be preparing elsewhere for the Tour De France which starts in Liege on Saturday June 30th.

The Team Sky team is as follows:  Alex Dowsett, Jeremy Hunt, Luke Rowe, Ian Stannard and Ben Swift.

ITV4 will be showing the race next Monday night.
