Coventry Storm have re-signed Martin Knuckey and signed former Bees mascot Conor Dwyer as a reserve.

Storm boss Laurence Rogers said to the Bees website: “Martin was impressive towards the end of the season, scoring some good points and taking some good scalps.

“He knows 2015 needs to be a big year for him, moving up into the main body of the team, and I feel he’s worth a lot more than his average.

“He’s also going to be moving up to the area, and it will be a big help to him not having a four-and-a-half hour journey to every home meeting, and he’ll also gain from watching and learning from the Elite League riders. I know him inside-out and I know there’s a lot of ability there.

“Conor has been unlucky with injuries in the last couple of years, but he’s packing in work to ride speedway in 2015, he’ll be full-time speedway and he’s committed himself completely.

“That was an impressive element for us when we looked at him, he becomes another asset for our ever-growing list and he’s very determined to improve and do well for his local club.”
