Nairo Quintana Wins The Tirreno-Adriatico

‎Movistar's Nairo Quintana has won the Tirreno-Adriatico.
 
Nairo Quintana had a 39 second lead going into this final stage which was a ten kilometre time trial in San Benedetto del Tronto.
 ‎
Maciej Bodnar of Tinkoff-Saxo set the early fastest of 11:39 but in came Adriano  Malori to beat his time by twelve seconds.
 
Fabian Cancellera had been tipped to do well in this stage and he did not disappoint setting a new best time of 11.23.
 
British rider Steve Cummings had been targeting a finishing place in the top ten and he finished in 11,46 and Bauke Mollema finished in 11.55.
 
Last man down the ramp was Nairo Quintana and he completed the course in 12.18, which gave a delighted Cancellera the victory and gave Quintana the overall victory.‎
