Movistar Take La Vuelta Opener

Movistar won the team time trial to open the Vuelta A Espana in Pamplona tonight.

The Spanish team completed the 16.6km course in a time of 18.51, some ten seconds ahead of Omega Pharma Quick Step.

Rabobank and BMC also were ten seconds behind with Team Sky who included Chris Froome in their riders in fifth.

Jonathan Castroviejo (pictured below) was the first Movistar rider home and is now the race leader.
