More International Matches For Edgbaston

It has been announced that there will be more international cricket matches in the coming years at Edgbaston.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club's home will stage in 2016, the second Royal London One-Day International against Sri Lanka on Friday 24 June, which is followed by England v Pakistan in the third Investec Ashes Test Match from Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 August as well as the NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day on Saturday 20 August.

Tickets for the 2016 Major Matches at Edgbaston are being released on-sale to Warwickshire CCC Members next week, with the remaining tickets being released on general sale on 1 October.

Edgbaston will also stage a four group games and a semi-final in the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017 and the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019, and an Investec Ashes Test Match in 2019.
