Modolo Wins Tour Of Turkey Sixth Stage

Colnago's Sasha Modolo won the Sixth stage of the Tour Of Turkey this afternoon.

Stage six was the longest stage of the race at 179kms and was from Bodrum to Kusadasi, and took place in beautiful weather.

Adam Hansen went down in a crash with 70kms to go as a three man break of Belkov, Golas and Ireland's Phillip Deignan were away with a lead of two and a half minutes.

They were still away with twenty kilometres to go but the gap was coming down all the time.

With eight kilometres to go, they were caught. Colnago's Enrico Battaglin got away but the peloton followed.

The italian was fourteen seconds clear and he was caught and a bunch sprint ensued with Battaglin's team mate Sasha Modolo taking  the win with Matt Goss second and Mark Renshaw third.
