Miller To Ride The Tour De France

David Millar, who was a bronze medalist in the British Road Race Championships on Sunday, will ride the 100th Tour De France which starts in Porto Vecchio, Corsica on Saturday.

Millar, who told Covsupport News Service, what a hard race the British Championships were and how strong Team Sky's Ian Stannard was, flew in Figari Airport, east of Porto Vecchio along with team mate Ireland's Dan Martin and the rest of the Garmin Sharp side which includes Andrew Talansky, Christian Vande Velde, Jack Bauer, Ramunas Navardauskas, Rohan.Dennis, Ryder.Hesjedal and Tom Danielson.

Also flying on the flight from Nice was Team Sky's number one Chris Froome with team mate Edvald Boasson Hagen and Cannondale's Peter Sagan.

The riders will be unveiled in the Corsican town, reminiscent of a English seaside town to the public on Thursday before the race starts at noon local time on Saturday.
