Tony Martin of Omega Pharma Quick Step said that he rode the perfect race to win the time trial on the penultimate stage of the 101st Tour De France.

Martin told Eurosport: "I am happy with the performance. I expected tired legs but right from the start, I had a good feeling. Sure my legs are tired after three weeks in the Tour De France but I think I could recover well after the mountains, so I could be ok for the start to the finish.

"I never had a weak point in the race. I am happy about my performance and for me I did the perfect race.

It was a time trial for guys with a lot of power as there are some hill climbs  But they are not real climbs so you could push a big gear and i was pleased to get an advantage on the climbers.
