Australian Leigh Howard won the second event in the Mallorca Challenge today.

The Trofeo Campos saw a seven man break caught by the peloton which had been led by Team Sky with 2012 Tour De France winner Bradley Wiggins on the front doing plenty of work for Ben Swift who had finished third in yesterday's event.

Again, this 167.1km stage came down to a bunch sprint in Ses Salines, and Garmn Sharp's Tyler Farrar again had to settle for second place as he was pipped by Orica Green Edge's Leigh Howard who won in a time of 3.56.24.

Third was Movistar's JJ Rojas with Egoitz Garcia fourth. Ben Swift came in tenth.

Alex Dowsett came in 2.43 down whilst Bradley Wiggins who finished 152nd came in with a group of British riders some 3.13 down on Howard's time.
