Lakeside Taking Hammering From Bees

Coventry Bees Speedway Team continued their push for a play-off place with a 55-35 victory over Lakeside Hammers.

With the Bees using rider replacement for Kyle Howarth and Stefan Neilsen guesting, Coventry went down to a 5-1 loss in the opening heat.

James Sarjeant rode to a 5-1 in the second heat but Lakeside were back in front in heat three with a 4-2 win.

After a 3-3 and some track grading, Chris Harris and Hans Andersen rode to a 5-1 in a re-run heat five.

Lakeside then took a 4-2 which was cancelled out by a 4-2 to the Bees who then went down to a 4-2 in heat eight which made the scores twenty four all and saw Nielsen who crashed on his way to hospital.

In a re-run heat nine, Sarjeant took the win in a 5-1 and then Andersen won in a 4-2.

A 3-3 was followed by the Bees storming away with a victory thanks to three 5-1's in the last three heats which gave the Bees a 55-35 victory.
