Kerby Wins Herald Sun Tour Prologue

Jordan Kerby won the opening prologue of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour in Victoria, Australia today.

The 20 year old rode the 4.7 kilometre individual time trial course along the picturesque waterfront of Williamstown in a time of 5mins 25.01secs beating New Zealand's Joe Cooper (Huon Salmon–Genesys Wealth Advisors) who recorded a time of 5mins 26.48secs and David Kelly (Total Rush- Hyster Racing)  who was the first man down the ramp and  finished third with 5mins 28.69secs.

Due to expected temperatures of 40 degrees, the first road stage -the 147.7km stage from Sunbury’s Rupertswood Mansion to Tom Flood Sports Centre in Bendigo, has been moved to a 9.30am start..
