Coventry Jets American Football Team were hammered 56-14 away to Merseyside Nighthawks.
The Jets were 28-0 down at the end of the first quarter after conceding four touchdowns but did get on the scoreboard in the second quarter with a 34 yard pass.
However, at half-time, they were 42-7 down and although they got into the end zone again, the Nighthawks sent the Jets to their fourth straight defeat.
