Katusha's Alexander Kristoff said he had the perfect lead out as he took a second successive win in the Tour Des Fjords.

Kristoff was led out by his team to win the stage in Haugesmund and said about his win: "Sven Erik was in perfect position for the last few km’s and then we had Marco and Jacopo after him – at these speeds they were more than enough.

"I think I started my sprint at 150 metrres to go at 70km/h so there was no problem. There were many teams interested in bringing up their guys.

"I had a perfect lead out and could control it but these downhill sprints are a little bit dangerous to be in the front. We were the first team into the finish line but I was happy no one else came really fast from behind."
