Warwickshire County Cricket Club crashed to a heavy 226 run defeat against Sussex at Horsham.

Warwicks were set 326 to win on the final day after Sussex had declared on 202-4 but the wickets of Chopra, Porterfield and Trott fell before Warwicks had ten runs on the board.

Ian Westwood went for seventeen, quickly followed by Sam Hain and Rikki Clarke both without scoring.

Tim Ambrose had offered some resistance, making 56 from 131 balls but when he was out with the score on 99, Nash and Tredwell polished off the last three wickets without conceding a run and Warwicks went down to a 225 run defeat.
