Coventry Bees manager Gary Havelock has said that the Bees are in for a tough meeting as they take on Kings Lynn Stars at Brandon tonight.
Speaking to the Bees website, Havelock said about the meeting which starts at 7.30pm: “The Bank Holiday always makes it tougher with the number of matches, and you can find yourself really scratching around trying to get a decent guest, so I put in a call nice and early to get Scott and hopefully he can do a job for Bomber. The way he’s been going this season I certainly think he can.
“This is going to be a tough meeting with the form that King’s Lynn have been coming into, and these are the kind of big meetings that separate the top guys in the league.
“Certainly if we have aspirations of topping this league table, although we’ve held a good lead throughout the season so far, these are the meetings that we need to be competing in and trying to win.”
The Bees will have Scott Nicholls guesting for Chris Harris.
