Haussler Takes Bejing Second Stage

Garmin-Cervelo's Heinrich Haussler took the second stage of the Tour Of Beijing this morning.

The second 137km stage from the Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium to Men Tou Gou ended in a bunch sprint and the German who now rides under an Australian licence, won ahead of Denis Galimzyanov (Katusha) and Theo Bos (Rabobank) in a time of 3hr 30 mins and 3 seconds.

Nicholas Roche was the top GB and Ireland rider finishing 23rd with Alex Dowsett 24th, David Millar 34th, Chris Froome 47th, Jeremy Hunt 70th and Steve Cummings 120th.

Yesterday's winner Tony Martin keeps his leader's red jersey.
