HTC Colombia's Andre Greipel took the sixth stage of the Tour Of Britain this afternoon.

On the stage from Kings Lynn to Great Yarmouth which went ahead without Garmin's Danny Martin, Bradley Wiggins was third in the first sprint of the day at Sandringham.

Cervelo's Jeremy Hunt (pictured below) was involved in the next sprint at Wells next the sea, finishing third and the Brit also was third in the climb at Burnham Deepdale.

Wiggins also got a placing on the climbs but dropped back and finished at the back of the field with Geraint Thomas and Steve Cummings (pictured below) whilst Andre Greipel beat Borut Bozic over the line to collect his second stage victory in this tour.

"André did an amazing job. He was working all day for Albasini but I said to him if he felt good he could go for it," said HTC Colombia's Sports Director Brian Holm to his team's press office.  "It was complicated.  We've only got four riders here, so André has to support Michael. But other teams did some chasing and then in the last kilometre it all came down to a bunch sprint and they couldn't stop him.  We're definitely on track now to try and take the leader's jersey to London for Michael, too. There are still two days to go, but we're doing well."

Tomorrow's seventh stage is from Bury St Edmunds to Colchester.
