Former World Champion Philippe Gilbert was beaten into third place in the 14th Classic Sud Ardèche - Souvenir Francis Delpech.
This two hundred kilometre one day race from Bourg Saint-Andéol to Ruoms was won by Florian Vachon of the Bretagne - Seche Environement team in 5.14.35 ahead of Omega Pharma Quick Step's Michael Golas and BMC's Gilbert.
