Rabbobank's Robert Gesink was first up the Green Mountain to win the fourth stage of the Tour Of Oman.

On the 157km long fourth stage from Sultan Qaboos University to the Green Mountain of Jabal al Akhdhar, Gesink put in a superb ride to break clear and win by 41 seconds over Team Sky's Edvald Boasson Hagen with the Belgian Dried Devenyns, some fifty one seconds back.

Gesink is now the overall leader going into tomorrow's stage five which is an 18.5km time trial around Al Jissah.
