Froome Wins The Criterium International

Team Sky's Chris Froome won the Criterium International with victory in the final race of the two day event in Corsica.

In miserable conditions on the final stage which was 176kms long from Porto-Vecchio to Col de l’Ospedale, Froome attacked with five kilometres to go and won in a time of 4.43.41 with team mate Richie Porte second and Mollema third.

The win gave Froome the overall victory over Porte by 32 seconds.
