Froome Tops The UCI Rankings

Chris Froome has gone to the top of the UCI World Rankings following his victory in the Tour De France.

Froome picked up two hundred World Tour points for winning the race to add to the points he attained during the race itself.

The Team Sky rider now  leads the rankings with 587 points to Cannondale's Peter Sagan, who has 409 points and Joaquin Rodriquez who is third on 390 points.

Ireland's Dan Martin is eighth, Mark Cavendish is 20th, Geraint Thomas 27th, Bradley Wiggins 52nd, Ian Stannard 65th, Alex Dowsett 99th, David Millar 136th and Andrew Fenn 180th.
