Froome Down To Second In World Rankings

Team Sky's Chris Froome is down to second in the UCI World Tour rankings.

Katusha's Joaquim Rodriquez's win in Il Lombardia means that the Spaniard now leads Froome by 607-587 points at the top of the table.

Third is Movistar's Alejandro Valverde with 540, with Cannondale's Peter Sagan on 491 and Vincenzo Nibali on 474.

Birmingham born Irishman Dan Martin is eighth with 348 points, Mark Cavendish is 28th with 161 points, Nicholas Roche is 34th with 136 points, Geraint Thomas is 41st with 117 points, Bradley Wiggins is 69th with 66 points, Ian Stannard is 87th with 44 points and David Millar is 178th with four points.
