The UCI have confirmed that Radio Shack-Nissan's Frank Schleck of Luxembourg has tested positive for a banned diuretic during the 2012 Tour de France.

UCI says the diuretic Xipamide turned up in an anti-doping test on a sample from Frank Schleck taken on July 14, 2012. The diuretic is classified as a specified substance and does not require a provisional suspension.

Schleck has now left the Tour.
