Great Britain are one of a few countries to have five riders in the London 2012 Olympic Games Mens Road Race which is to be held tomorrow morning.

Whilst Team Sky built their team around Bradley Wiggins for the Tour De France, the Le Tour winner will be repaying the work done to help him win by working to get gold for sprinter Mark Cavendish (pictured below).

The World Champion will have the backing of friend David Millar and Team Sky team mates - British road race champion Ian Stannard and Tour De France 2012 Runner Up Chris Froome.

The amount of riders per country who will compete over the 250km which features nine climbs of Box Hill in Surrey is decided on UCI rankings and those countries along with Great Britain who have the maximum amount of riders are Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the USA.

Ireland will have three competitors in Danny Martin (pictured below), Nicholas Roche and David McCann.
