Fifth Place For Millar

Britain's David Millar was fifth in the opening prologue of the Tour Of Roumandie in Switzerland.

Jonathan Castroviejo of Euskaltel-Euskadi had the biggest win of his career when he won the stage in a time of 3 minutes 40.42 seconds in Martigny where Coventry City once played a pre-season friendly against Brasov.

BMC'S Taylor Phinney was second with Australian Lee Howard third.

British road race champion Geraint Thomas was 13th with Omega Pharma Lotto's Adam Bylthe (17th), Ireland's Nicholas Roche 28th, Team Sky's Ben Swift 29th, Bradley Wiggins 77th of the 155 riders.
