Bradley Wiggins is favourite for the Tour De France according to a poll of riders who will be competing in the race which starts tomorrow in Liege.

Over fifty riders of the 198 taking part, according to Laurent Pruneta writing in French newspaper Aujuord'hui, think that Wiggins, described as a gentle hooligan or a laboratory rat by some of the French Press, will win.

BMC's Cadel Evans who won last year's race is second favourite with Liquigas's Vicenzo Nibali.
