Tour De France 2011 winner Cadel Evans won the Criterium International on Sunday.
On roads in Corsica that will be used for the opening stages of the Tour De France in 2013, the third stage which involves a sprint, a time trial and a climb, saw the BMC rider go with 2kms to go.
However, he was caught and sprint developed with Pierry Federigo winning the stage to take second place, some eight seconds behind Evans who finished fourth on the day.
