Cummings Out Of The Sky

British cyclist Steve Cummings has left Team Sky.

Cummings had two seasons at the British based team but has become the latest rider to join Tour De France winner Cadel Evans at BMC.

Speaking about signing for BMC who have also signed Phillipe Gilbert, Thor Hushovd, Marco Pinotti and Brit Adam Blythe, Cummings (pictured above0 said to www.cyclingnews.com: “They've just won the Tour de France, and the riders they've signed have the chance to win almost any race. "Their entire program really has the whole package.

“I want to work as hard as possible for the team and make the most of any opportunities that come my way. If I can do that, then I'm happy,”

Whilst the wait goes on for Mark Cavendish to officially announce which team he is signing for, other British and Irish riders on the move are Andy Fenn joining Quick Step from An Post Sean Kelly and Irish Champion Matt Brammier joining the same team from HTC Highroad.
