Coventry Storm's meeting with Cradley at Brandon was postponed.
The meeting was due to take place at 4pm but was put back until 6pm after the rain stopped.
Work then started on the track but the meeting was postponed just after 5pm.
SCB Referee Graham Reeve said: "The delay to the meeting was in the hope that the track conditions would improve, but in fact they got worse.
"The humidity was such that it just made more water, and that meant it was patchy, with too many soft patches to be able to run the meeting."
