Coventry Storm Hammered By Kent

Coventry Storm were well beaten by Kent 60-30 tonight.

In the second of a double National League meeting at Brandon, the Storm took on Kent after losing to the Isle Of Wight.

The first two heats were 3-3's but Kent took the third 5-1 and after a 3-3, the visitors took another 5-1 in heat five.

Heat six was a 3-3 as was heat seven but Kent had a 5-1 in heat eight to go 12 points ahead of the Storm.

Kent further increased their lead with a 4-2 and a 5-1 either side of a 3-3 and a 5-1 in heat twelve meant that Kent were 22 points ahead with three heats left.

Kent took another 5-1 in heat thirteen after Liam Carr had been forced to retire from the meeting after his bike packed up again and he did not have a spare.

Kent took the final heat 5-1 to send the Storm who did not win one heat in the meeting to a 30-60 defeat.
