Coventry Storm Speedway Team take on Birmingham in a Travel Plus National League fixture of 2016 at Brandon tonight at 7.30pm.

Coventry boss Laurence Rogers said to the Bees website: “It’s going to be another very hard meeting. Birmingham have started the season sharply with some wins, and we’re going to need to be firing on all cylinders to get the win for ourselves.

“We were down to five riders against Eastbourne and we battled hard - it wasn’t the start to the season we wanted, but we will bounce back.”

Admission for Friday’s meeting is £12 for adults, £5 for students (on confirmation of full-time status) and all under-16s free.

The Storm’s scheduled fixture at Belle Vue on Saturday is off due to the ongoing track work at the National Speedway Stadium.
