Coventry Enjoys A Cycling Treat

Last updated : 25 June 2011 By Kev Monks

Day one of the Coventry Cycling Festival at the world famous Transport Museum started today.

The festival which runs today and tomorrow, brings together many forms of cycling from the bikes made by the workers who formed Singers FC which as we all know became Coventry City FC in a city where at one time over 5,000 people were employed in the cycle industry, right up to BMX's and mountain bikes.

There are plenty of activities for familes including music, craft stalls, bike rides, rickshaw around town, and cycle rides for the more experienced, as well as being able to walk round and see the treasures, that this jewel in Coventry's crown holds.
