Coventry Blaze have signed 26-year-old defenceman Marc Cantin.
A native of Omemee, Ontario, Canada, the 6’1” former Memorial Cup Champion joins Blaze with over 100 AHL games to his name.
Head Coach Danny Stewart said to the Blaze website, "Getting a guy of Marc's quality and pedigree at still a young age is an exciting signing for us. He instantly makes us better defensively with his all-round game. He's another great skater at the back and will be another puck moving guy which we can never have enough of. He is an all situations type guy who is tough to play against with his physicality and skating ability. He's tough to beat and will play big minutes for us! We wanted to finish our roster with another competitor type guy and he was the perfect fit!"
