Coventry Blaze Lose To The Panthers

Coventry Blaze were beaten 5-3 at home by Nottingam Panthers tonight.

There was a good crowd in the Sky Dome to see the Blaze go a goal down on 13.04 through Geoff Waugh and then two goals on down on 16.45 when Dimmen netted.

Josh Godrey pulled a goal back on 18.52 but Jeff Brown scored a third for the visitors on 21.29.

Brett Robinson scored a second for the Blaze on 23.38 but Schultz netted a fourth for the Panthers on 34.13 to see the Blaze 4-2 down at the end of the second period.

Jordan Pietrus scored a third on 58.50 but the vistors scored again in the closing seconds to leave the Blaze with a 5-3 loss.
