Coventry Blaze Lose In Over-Time

Coventry Blaze were beaten in over time 3-2 by the Cardiff Devils in a Challenge Cup tie at the Sky Dome tonight.

Back from their two games in Belfast, the Blaze took on Cardiff and were  goal down on 6.27 when Joey Haddad scored.

Jordan Pietrus equalised and on 32.29, Marc Cantin fired the Blaze in front with a goal assisted by Jorgensen.

However, with 36 seconds of the match left, Cardiff equalised through Joe Martin and sent the game into over-time.

Bergman missed at one end, Cardiff broke and scored to send the Blaze to a 3-2 defeat.
