Coventry Blaze Lose At Cardiff

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team were beaten 5-2 at Cardiff Devils on Saturday night.

In their last vist to "The Big Blue Tent", the Blaze were a goal down on 5.14 when Kurka scored for the league leaders and two on 8.29 when Martin scored.

Brett Robinson pulled a goal back on 17.02, assisted by Brenden Walker and Cale Tanka.

Into the second period and the Blaze were level on 29.20 when James Jorgensen scored to quieten the majority of the 2,259 crowd. assisted by Brett Robinson & Drew Fisher.

In the final period, Jake Morrisette scored on 49.48 and he helped to set up Joey Martin for a fourth goal on the power play on 51.46 before hitting the fifth on 59.22 with a short handed empty net goal..
