Coventry Blaze Hit For Six

Coventry Blaze were beaten 6-1 at home by Sheffield Steelers tonight in an Elite League fixture.

The Blaze trailed to goals from Christopher Bjorkland and John Armstrong in the opening couple of minutes of the first period of this game at the Sky Dome.

Armstrong scored a third and with 6.08 on the clock Markus Wilson fired past Remy Marr who was net-minding in place of Brian Stewart who was injured in a collision on Saturday night.

Just before the end of the opening period, Mattieu Roy scored Sheffield's fifth goal.

Coventry pulled a goal back thirteen seconds into the second period when Robin Bergman found the net but Armstrong completed his hat-trick on 39.28 to send the Blaze to a 6-1 defeat.
