Coventry Blaze Finish 2015 Home Campaign With A Win

Coventry Blaze beat Nottingham Panthers 5-3 tonight at the Sky Dome in their final Home game of 2015.

Nottingham took the lead on 6.32 through Chris Lawrence but on 8.51, the Blaze were level when Michael Quesnele scored, assisted by Cale Tanaka and Neill Trimm.

Jordan Pietrus scored to put the Blaze ahead on 12.55, assisted by Brett Robinson and Josh Godfrey and Drew Fisher added a third on 18.55, assisted by Russ Cowley and  Neill Trimm.

There were no goals in the second period but in the third, the visitors pulled a goal back on 45.29 through Juraj Kolnik and the Blaze restored their two goal advantage when Brett Robinson netted, assisted by Jordan Pietrus on 47.23.

David Clarke at 51.11 scored a third for Nottingham but an empty net goal for Drew Fisher on 58.58 ensured that the Blaze finished 2015 with a 5-3 win.
