Coventry Bees Lose To Leicester

Coventry Bees Speedway Team were beaten 46-44 at Leicester in an Elite League meeting.

The Bees had Carl Wilkinson guesting and they took a 4-2 win in the opening heat.

After a 3-3, Chris Harris won in a 4-2 before Starke gve the home side their first heat win of the night in a 4-2 victory.

Jason Garrity won in a 3-3 which was followed by Chris Harris winning in a 4-2  that put the Bees 20-16 up after six heats.

Danny King won in a 3-3 after Jason Garrity went over his handlebars and crashed and took no further part in the meeting.

Leicester then took a 5-1 but after Kasprzak won in a 3-3, Chris Harris and Danny King won in a 5-1 to put the Bees back in front by two points.

Both sides took a 4-2 with Kasprzak winning for the Bees in heat thirteen.

Klindt won for Leicester in a 5-1 meaning that the Bees were two points down going into the final heat at the The Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium.

That finished in a 3-3 with Kasprzak winning but it was not enough to stop the Bees from going down to a defeat.
