Coventry Bears Win Away

Coventry Bears Rugby League team won 29-28 at All Golds on Friday night.

At the Prince Of Wales Stadium in Cheltenham,  Courtney Davis had the All Golds 4-0 up after five minutes.

Parry then went over for a converted try to make it 10-0 before the Bears got on the scoreboard when Jack Morrison ran in a try which Joel James converted.

In the 33rd minute, Lamont Bryan scored for the home side and the Bears were 16-6 down at half-time.

In the second half, Medforth scored with a try for which Joel James converted and the All Golds scored two more points from a penalty.

However with 22 minutes left, Matt Reid pounced for a try which James converted to get Cov level.

Matt Reid scored for the Bears and the All Golds ran in a try before Richie Hughes went over for Cov with a try that James converted to put Cov 28-22 up.

Parry equalised with a try which was converted. and with less than five minutes to go, Joel James scored with a drop goal to give Cov the win.
