Coventry Bears Rugby League team were beaten 38-10 at Oldham Roughyeds in their second Kingston Press league game of the season,
At Whitebank, Oldham took the lead in ten minute with a try and were 10-0 up after seventeen minutes.
Ward scored a third try for Oldham in the 27th minute and Ford ran in a fourth ten minutes and a fifth just before half-time to see Cov 26-0 down.
Oldham scored another try in the seocnd half before the Bears got on the scoresheet when Matt Reid went over for a try that was converted by Steven Coleman.
Josh Guzdek scored a second try for the Bears who conceded another try with twenty minutes left and that was the end of the scoring.
