Coventry Bears Rugby League side were beaten 35-10 by Rochdale Hornets at the Butts Park Arena.
The Bears had taken a lead in the sixth minute through a Dan Parker try but Rochdale came back and levelled in the 26th minute through Dale Bloomfield and scored a second try eleven minutes later which Langeley was converted.
in the second half, Anthony Walker ran in two tries before Warren Thompson and Danny Bridge scored to further increase Rochdale's lead.
Cameron Boulter scored a late try which Stephen Coleman.but the Hornets had the last say with a 79th minute drop goal.
