Coventry Bears Beat Hemel

Coventry Bears Rugby League team  made it two wins out of two at home with a 52-16 victory over Hemel Stags.

Cov delighted the crowd at the Butts Park Arena with a Jymel Coleman try in the seventh minute to put them 6-0 up and although the visitors ran in a try ten minutes later, Cov were back in front in the 29th minute through Jamahl Hunte to lead 12-6 at half-time.

Two minutes into the second half and Cov added to their lead when Matt Cooper scored with Connor Robinson converting.

Jamahl Hunte went over for his second try in the 45th minute and Billy Sheen scored on the left with Robinson converting to see Cov 30-6 ahead in the 49th minute.

Barrie John Swindells scored a second try for Hemel in the 55th minute but the Bears were back with Matthew Marsh going over five minutes later.

Hemel ran in a third try before Marsh scored his second try of the game in the 72nd minute.

Sheen ran in another try which Marsh who completed his hat-trick with a 78th minute try, converted as he did with his own try to give Cov a 52-16 win.
