Coventry Rugby Club are please to confirm that the necessary paperwork has now been received for Uruguayan full-back Gaston Mieres, who is on trial at Coventry Rugby. Gaston played in all 4 games for Uruguay in the recent world cup .Gaston aged 26 joins after a spell at Italian side Valipolicella, and has already been training with Coventry. Gaston watched his new team-mates at Esher, and he will make his debut for Coventry Rugby in the home match against Blaydon.
Coventry Rugby would also like to confirm the following loan news about some of their squad to enable them to get valuable game time.
Prop forwards Terry Sigley and Rikki Stout are both at Broadstreet, as is lock forward Courtney Roberts.
Back-rower Loti Molitika is at Clifton and winger Ryan Hough at South Leceister.
Two other players already advised on loan is flanker Joe Carpenter at Stourbridge and hooker Jake Caulfield at Taunton.
