Coventry Rugby Club were beaten 29-21 at Darlington Mowden Park this afternoon.
The score was 5-5 after eleven minutes when Matt Jones kicked a penalty but seven minutes later, Darlington ran in a try which they converted and with Cov down to thirteen following a yellow card for Chad Thorne, Darlington increased their lead with a 22nd minute penalty.
By the time Cov were back to their fifteen players, they were 17-8 down at the Darlington Arena.
Rory Hutchinson ran in a 47th minute try, converted by Matt Jones to put Cov in front and in the 65th minute, Matt Jones kicked a penalty, to see Cov ahead by four points.
Darlington ran in a try and then another and Cov made the long trip back a beaten side.
