Cov Rugby Come Back To Make It Nine Wins

Coventry Rugby Club came back to beat the previously unbeaten Ealing Trailfinders 32-26 at Butts Park Arena.

Coventry's best crowd of the season of 1480 saw Cliff Hodgson kick a second minute penalty for Coventry, who had won eight games on the trot.

Five minutes later, Rob Knox ran in a try for Cov but Ealing came back with an Andre Radoi try in the 16th minute which Ben Ward converted and in the 35th minute, Tom Brown went over with Ward again converting.

Knox scored his second try of the game in the 43rd minute that Matt Jones converted. Ealing came back again with a 56th minute Alex Bradley try but Coventry started to fight back.

Sam Pailor went over with a 59th minute try for Cov which Jones converted and ten minutes later, there was another try which came for Hodgson who scored and then saw his try converted by Jones.

Jones kicked an 80th minute penalty for Cov and although they allowed Phil Chester to run in a try five minutes into stoppage time, Coventry Rugby Club had recorded another epic victory.
